The second album by the Stooges is one of the best albums ever. In 1970, Iggy Lurex Gloves, Pop called instead Stooge, cut his skin with chipped bottles and was sometimes hit by the home crowd ko. "Dirt" is one of my absolute favorites: a broken Psycho-Blues, the Iggy recites with selbstquälerischem, defiant text: "I'm dirt and I do not care ...". Also terrific "Down on the Street" of the song in which the Stooges have invented the pig rock ala Hellacopters and of course "Loose", "1970", "TV Eye" all classics of punk rock. The difference to the predecessor is in the improvisation and the brilliant saxophone play of Steven Mackay, which gives a distorted jazzy note the gloomy songs you had not heard so previously. Scott Asheton on drums, brother Ron on guitar and Dave Alexander, sadly passed away already in the seventies, on bass gave Iggy the backline, he needed to play out his whole class. Many consider Funhouse for the weakest of the Stooges albums. I mean, it's just different than the debut and nothing like Raw Power anyway. Funhouse has its own magic, the Iggy years later with Kill City sprayed again. So and so I have called all studio albums the Stooges, and at least that should the lover of garage punk who are also on the shelves. Conclusion: "In 2004 and It Still Feels Right ..."
