I have the game not so long and spent about 3 hours trying to climb through the "game phase" and am not sure if I now really play it the way it is provided. We have yesterday made a game night and inaugurated Bohnanza. We played the game open and started after a brief explanation immediately. The rules, which I have now understood, attended at my teammates only confusion, after three rounds but they were understood and even then had to be much in demand. If the rules are but eventually understood the game goes right ahead fun. One can then so slow to focus on the things that you have not been really taken into account because they were too busy trying to understand the game. The cards are designed very fun and action and giving of "green beans" provides the entertainment in the game. I think the rules are clear for any interpretation and I would imagine that many will be modified by the playgroups. The learning curve has been worthwhile in our opinion, definitely. We would buy the game and play again! But one thing must be clear just before, it takes time to read and einzuspielen especially! Here, then patience is initially required, but worth it!
