Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds [Vinyl] (Vinyl)

Customer Review

This multifaceted and deeply eclectic album that example of Oasis (Of course!), The Beatles (as always!), The Moody Blues (ca. 1969), Fleetwood Mac, ELO or West Coast pop in the vein of The Lovin 'Spoonful, The Turtles and The Mamas & The Papas were affected, you just have to have as a vinyl LP.

Of course, the debut of 'high-flying birds' in every aspect of top class, but by its strong musical Spätsixties- and Seventies character simply recommends the nostalgic, no: timeless Exhilaration, taking the record from the 30x30-cm-hinged sleeve, to put them on the rotating plate and then let drop the stylus soulful on the pre-groove.

While welcoming a 180-gram black disk at once with some clearly perceptible crackers, but once the music starts, the pleasure begins: What a sound, what a transparency, what a feeling! Easy to and beautiful.

And the next one wonders where Noel Gallagher had hidden all these wonderful melodies. Although he was of course too Oasis times a gifted songwriter, but in such a concentrated form, as opulent and elegant, so touching and melancholic, so playful and cheerful one has never experienced before.

That some things just a little too long drags on or is repeated too often, one is used to from his compositions from previous years, but to keep it here in very narrow limits. And that sounds at the end of the last track at once violent to 'atonal' guitar noise, though not fit the atmosphere of this album, you can forgive the master but with a wink. He will have what thinking.

This disc breathes, it flows, it seduces and enchants. She's just great. How lucky that I almost by accident a few weeks ago on TV could experience at a live performance the band, because otherwise I would hardly have had the idea to download to the album and this happy decision then through the additional purchase of the LP with to provide an exclamation point.

Thank you Mr. Gallagher, chapeau !!
