My opinion on the vinyl edition of "Maureen" including CD

I'm looking forward. Because of having "Maureen" vinyl "feels" right. The cover design is excellent and the inlay has been printed with the lyrics and some photos of Joy. The CD is in a thin plastic shell and is easily pushed to the LP in the album cover. A booklet of the CD in vain.

Vinyl records recent offer often still a free download link for the mp3 version of the album on. The solution with CD LP I personally find but better, because to mp3isieren the CD data on your home computer does not fall so hard.

The music itself is typical Joy Denalane in my ears. Never escape the haze and friends, and this album is a fine piece of soul music. Although Joy Denalane invents nothing new with "Maureen," I like Maureen but significantly better than the English-language "Born & Raised" album that I feel as overproduced.

In November 2011, Joy was live in my area - and also Maureen is live very worth listening to.

The LP / CD version is a nice Collectible, which makes fine on the record shelves.
