Solid work in beautiful vinyl edition

Although sufficient "I Am Very Far" in my opinion does not quite reach the previous works zoom, yet Okkervil River is a good album that boasts excellent produced songs. Especially the excellent opener "The Valley" and the last song "The Rise" are highlights. However, a catchy "hit" like "Our Life Is Not a Movie or Maybe" from "The Stage Names" is missing after the first round.

For Vinyl Edition: The album comes on 2 LPs, with side A to C contain the music, on page D is an image milled (Etching) by Will Sheff. Both plates come in paper sleeves, in embossed envelope (no gatefold), plus there is a multi-page booklet in the CD format, and a download code for a free MP3 version of the album, which can be loaded with the label (320 kbit). Especially in times of iPod and Co. I think it's extremely important, the album digitally to get to on the go - so a vinyl release should look like!
