Great album, worthy vinyl edition

Black Country Communion [Vinyl] (Vinyl)

Customer Review

About the music several very accurate reviews have been written, so I'll keep this short:
For me, definitely a highlight of 2010 and the best "supergroup" Chickenfoot since. Very varied and rocky runs with me the disk (s) in heavy rotation. My absolute favorite piece is this "Song Of Yesterday", an 8 1/2-minute epic, which not only causes goose bumps, but both the songwriting and playing skills of the band perfectly sums it up.
Now, however, to vinyl edition:
Contrary to the description the good piece comes as a double 180g vinyl in gatefold sleeve with texts (which, unfortunately, now often regarded apparently desired as no longer necessary, or is ...). 72 minutes music would fit on a hard disk ... But if each side has about 18 minutes of playing time, so you can relax nicely and enjoy the beautiful music before it's time to turn.
The discs themselves are perfectly produced, no residues, etc. recognizable (at least my copy) absolutely flat. This too is unfortunately not self-evident ...
So all in all an absolute recommendation for friends earthy rock discs at a fair price.
