I am firmly convinced that this disc is many BVSC fans liked. It is a mix of live recordings, delightfully relaxed Cuban music (as is often played in Havannischen bars) and last but not least great salsa pieces where you want to stay hardly sit :)
"Lost and Found" is a compilation of previously never published recordings that were produced by Ry Cooder in various sessions in several years, but had never made it onto a plate. Until now! The cover artwork is in my opinion perfectly chosen .. the washed-out colors, the yellowed photo make you feel to keep a very special and rare in the hands .. So like an old-lost attic-Fund, which is sealed for years waiting to be discovered ,
For lovers of vinyl: Unfortunately once I had to replace because the disc was scratched. But now the present copy is meticulously crafted. The label is centered clean, the disk is almost flat and the sound is excellent. The inner cover is unfortunately only of paper, which is not internally lined. It is accompanied by a 12 page booklet in A4 format with lots of additional information about titles and numerous photos. Who wants the lyrics, however, not find it.
On the sound-board are missing compared to the CD / MP3 Version 2 title (Black Chicken37 & Ruben Sings!). I think that's a shame, but probably because of the limited space on vinyl. But there is a download card, where you then can download all tracks (the two missing also).
Conclusion: due to the warm season this disc is just right and makes you want to leave - like in Cuba. For the current price (17.99), the vinyl version in my opinion, is worth the price, for the CD, I find the price too high.
