Five stars is also here as with all other Tool albums barely enough. And that's my opinion, though I long before I did, "Undertow" put on me, already know that often (and rightly so) so-called masterpieces "Aenima" and "Lateralus" and have learned to love. "Undertow" is basically up where "opiates" ceased. With the eerie complex, mysterious-cryptic pieces of the last two albums this has hardly similarities - but that makes it no worse. At least, if you like me, both sides of tool like, namely the strong progressive side of the younger plants but also compared to a straightforward compositions to be designated older songs, as they are known by "opiates". The songs from "Undertow" is bleak, brutal, but somehow touching and of course the very catchy. Therefore, I would recommend this album, although I first heard it biased, impossible rate worse than others Tool evaluate discs. That is now times five stars. Oh, one more thing: neither my words nor my predecessor here, the fascination that emanates grasp of Tool's music adequately in words. There is only one: Listen!
