Since there are so many accessories for the Wii and the related expenses are not to be sneezed at, I wanted to be a little more economical the Balance Board and decided on the black board of Bigben. Before the first synchronization with the Wii (which worked perfectly) I tested the built-in balance, the left a first bad impression: It's really more than imprecise, by switching off and re-ascending to the board obtained every time a new weight with deviations up to 5kg. Maybe I zappel yes just too much around, I thought, and therefore weighed times my table grill in his box. After several attempts, I can definitely say that I now still have no idea what the device weighs, but probably between 3.1kg and 4.9kg probably - and this despite the Grill certainly not fidgeting on the scales. Apart from the display is (which is indeed pretty blue illuminated) rather difficult to read. In WiiFitPlus the problem with the scale showed then of course: One day I had once taken 4kg, increased again the next 5kg, and WiiFit asked me how it probably was to come. "My Balance Board is botch" you could not choose, so I chose "do not know". The tables for the prosecution of BMI and weight do so of course no sense at all. Also between games has Wiifit me point out that my weight has changed and asks if I want to continue anyway. This has a reason: Is the recorded weight of a player does not match the actual, is the detection of movement and weight shift inaccurate. So the board has also often my movements, no matter how hard I struggled, not recognized, and my Mii was just stupid in the meadow instead of running while the black ball to catch him and punched him off the field. The frustration in the long run simply, so I exchanged it and brought me a Balance Board by Nintendo. And lo and behold - as good can that work! My Mii running when I run, and the scale also shows virtually no differences. In addition, printed on the Nintendo Board not so ugly feet, I know, after all, even so, where to stand, but that's a matter of taste ...
Pro: - Synchronization to work properly, the Board is recognized - Board works (more or less)
Cons: - Balance so imprecise that it is useless - Motion detection inaccurate, more frustration than fun
Conclusion: The price savings it's really not worth it. I would recommend anyone to equal access to the original.
