Yes, knives should be sharp and well-cut. We bought this knife, among other things to be able to cut even buns. They are actually really good, as was but obviously saved the material, they are really thin and therefore they get extra sharpness: towards razor :-) Yes, it works well, and we are not too stupid to cut, but two of us have actually been cut in Brötchenaufschneiden in the hand; So rethinking and also cut sandwiches only "away from you"! :-) They fog up slightly in the dishwasher.
