I bought the cable to my external USB 3.0 hard drive to connect to the PC. The original cable that came with the hard drive cage, I can easily boot the PC even if the external hard drive is plugged in (which should be so) - this cable will boot the PC no longer, that is, the PC recognizes the ext. Hard drive not correct as such.

Have specially bought this expensive "brand cable". Am very disappointed it - worse than the cheap cable that came with.
