The Panasonic ES-RT31 dry-wet battery shaver with 3-stage cutting head (in "dry" mode) extremely thorough and extremely skin-friendly. This part fits comfortably in your hand, the water resistance of a very reassured when passing shaves fast times in the tub. The unit is compared to my previous shavers very quiet, the battery after one hour charging time very persistent, the manufacturer's specified period of about 2 weeks at a shave per day is roughly back.
Disadvantage as with most modern cordless shavers: It's just pure battery operation possible, ie no AC power. However, it is made by blinking an LED on time point out that the capacity to an end; then one or two shaves are possible. This warning, however, works for about one and a half years of operation only sporadically what is really whether the other good performance of the apparatus is annoying (see my amendments below ...). If you have forgotten to load but once (about 1 hour), there is a fast-charging mode in which the device is ready for use after 5 minutes on the can for use.
The uncomplicated wet cleaning of the device with normal soap and water is very convenient for everyday use, even if every one or two weeks, should clean up "interfaces" thoroughly with the enclosed brush anyway, as edge portions of the shaving foils out of reach of the shaving heads slightly dirty remained. This and the fact that the wet shave so far (but possibly also due to inexperience with a wet-dry shaver) was not as thoroughly dry shaving, gives a trigger point for a class device. I am very satisfied.

A change of liquid soap into perspective my criticism addressed with regard to the effectiveness of wet cleaning. The old one was all, a new and even 0815-soap was needed, and lo and behold: it cleans beautifully and thoroughly. So just try that part is robust ...
With regard to the reference paths and follow-up costs for replacement of cutters and foil:
Salesperson on site in the usual suspects Large electrical markets advised me against buying decision of Panasonic shavers regarding troubles at the procurement of spare parts for wearing parts from (of "not available in shop-shops", "very expensive" needed on the way to "Submitting the devices "). Up to the first point, the fact hinhaut, of course nonsense. Here I recommend a combination pack of razor and foil (WES9012), which is available online relatively cheap, including here. Priced the whole is still far from the major players of the razor industry, and to a - in my opinion - excellent quality ...

Now angry: The LED display as a warning low charge state will flash only sporadically. It happened to me several times lately that in the middle of shaving remained almost stopped the razor. That's frankly frustrating, so a star deduction. The shearing blades have eased noticeably slow when used daily by about one year. There was no skin irritation, but the shave was immediately simply not as thoroughly.
