So far so good, but unfortunately I have to say to me that from # 9, only the brilliant Shawty Lo Diss "What's up, what's haapnin" yet to convince, but it completely. Typical TI - Burner in the style of his old stuff. "Every chance u get" is certainly also useful, but the other things are all somewhere between bad kommerzig (Kanye's beat on "Swagga Like Us" is kind of boring and uninspired) and for TI just too quiet and dahinplätaschernd what VA applies for the last 3 tracks.
Listen the album never really finished !! The pure boredom. He should not hesitate to prefer his PSC guys Jeezy, BG or anybody else with draufpacken as John Legend and Justin Timberlake ...
Who, incidentally, before the release (or now on Youtube) still / somewhat rumgeforscht, will see that many cool tracks like "A Better Day" or "Kings on Set" have unfortunately not on the album, was instead often pay attention to pop. Must hold good to him, however, even that he now clearly more mature content and versatile evident. His cocaine stories or excessive bragging he leaves this time aside virtually complete - unfortunately the then but at the expense of the corresponding "Gangsta" orientation in the productions and sounds ...
And that's far doubly bitter, as the whole thing is but came out again on Grand Hustle and its strong albums such as Urban Legend or VA King (one of the best albums in the new millennium in my opinion) were also well over one million copies and thus commercially have been very successful.
I sincerely hope that he returns on his next release something more to its former strength and not very switched on SO the Billboard charts ....
So not really a bad album, but certainly not a very great release ...
