I love Mademoiselle K since those early days, and I had the opportunity to program it to a small and energetic concert (Maule). The first album was fortunate energy to spare, funny writing, self-deprecating ... The second, more subtle, less binary, assumed two or three plays prior to making a real idea and now is one of the best rock albums of this period in France. But this one ... It's not that it is missed, there are nice tracks like "playing outdoors"; but this is not the equivalent of the first two. These are improved ditties ... Already the cover of the album without real research, blah I not catch. While the first two again ... Bravo is stripped but original, a tad mysterious. What I like about Katerine Gierak is its ability to set to music that evoke intimate variations shyness, sexuality and its disorders, the search for identity, lightning strikes ... short life, with there -dessus sound as a decor and ambiance, capable of blowing strong as to be minimalist. And some titles are simply to die for, like "then I draw"; "More heart in it" more force "it smells Summer"; "In the shadow"; "Mom XY", "space"; "Final" (to listen for storing a terrible potato in the morning!) ... HE also be the voice of Katerine, not exceptional, but just enough bright with adorable little crunch and very expressive. Well here is this a bit lacking in this third installment. THE voice is clear, worked but not enthousiasme.Les texts are less worked, or less spontaneous, I do not know. The music is more subdued, toothless. It's clean, it's safe, very radio. As if I met Miss in a hallway feeling a little honest and well dressed fragrance, like on the cover. While we prefer leaving scene sweaty, yet combative and smelling leather.
