The reception is also available without the extendable antenna to use with us properly: no noise and after 5 seconds waiting time after switching on the radio has all available stations in the memory and selects the last selected. The display is to control but otherwise ok kidding. At 1 cm height it shows two lines spread the transmitter together with regard to the reception mode (eg DAB +), the date and time. This can be seen only at close range and then only when you are at eye level. The radio is our on the vanity, so I can only read the information stooped at 181 cm height. This separates the radio than watch parts if you have to risk a quick look in the bathroom. The display lights continuously blue, what would bother me, for example, in the bedroom, as it is very bright despite the low advertised low power standby of less than 1 watt. The power supply is via a small transformer, not a normal plug. The housing front, I personally find quite wertig, top and rear panels can be seen on the other hand to the cheap plastic (Made in China). Because on top of no buttons or switches are attached but as our predecessors, it can be cleaned very well, without adjusting the transmitter. The alarm I have not tried it, so I can tell anything to. As my Vorrezensent also I bought the radio at a supermarket chain with electrical department for almost 30 EUR and would do it again at this price.
