Positives:
- New, of other Coldplay sound, but unique
- Single pair quite beautiful songs like "Charlie Brown" or "Paradise"
In Detail:
- Mylo Xyloto: completely superfluous, you could also pack an to "Hurts Like Heaven", but ansich quite nice -> 5/10
- Hurts Like Heaven: Good melody, but clearly technology-overloaded -> 7/10
- Paradise: one of the best songs of the plate, but neither masterpiece still comparable to the main songs of other albums -> 8/10
- Charlie Brown: THE HIGHLIGHT, beautiful melody, not cluttered, voice comes into play, MMN the only masterpiece of CD -> 10/10
- Us Against The World: very good ballad, no frills -> 8/10
- MMIX: unnecessary -> 1/10
- Every Teardrop is a Waterfall: unconvincing, one waits continuously to any "breakout" -> 6/10
- Major Minus: overweight, voice comes to zero validity, trivial chorus -> 3/10
- UFO: no mention worthy -> 5/10
- Princess of China: Most boring song of Coldplay from all B-Sides and albums ever -> 1/10
- Up in Flames: very simple melody, nothing special -> 4/10
- A Hopeful Transmission: good Reconciliation -> 7/10
- Do not Let It Break Your Heart: beautiful melody, just a shame that Chris' voice comes into play because of overloading awareness only slightly -> 7/10
- Up with the Birds: no screamer completed -> 6/10
Conclusion:
Is mostly mediocre with many bright spot, a total of more 3.5 stars, which previously may not be considered a success compared to the Hammer-albums, but still good to listen
