This book remains a benchmark in this area. I only regret that the reissue in 2008 of the 2002 edition is not groomed a bit, the publisher could still make an effort.

Some examples:
The article on the euro is placed in work head as an addendum, while the article about the deceased Ecu is retained.
The article indicates that phone numbers consist of four groups of digits separated by a blank, while the 10-digit dialing is in effect since 18 October 1996.
There is evoked Upper Volta, called Burkina Faso, on 4 August 1984 and the GDR and the FRG.
The article on clean vehicles names redolent the Fourth Republic: La Belle Poule, the Cisalpin, Le Cid, The Three Graces, etc.

An updated edition, more contemporary (the Internet or the Internet? A website or a website?) Would be welcome.
