Some might know the problem: In the summer it is in the room / in the apartment sometimes just quite hot and the temperatures climb to 29 ° times evenly during the day. The problem is not the heat under the tag, but the heat at night. Since the air is in my room, when there is no wind there, I have found me this fan to provide relief. An air conditioner is due to the high consumption of 2400 watts (0.9 kWh according to the manufacturer) and the stupid art (if, then a split system) is not in question.
What I like about the fan:
At level 1 it is night for me (I have with soft uniform noise as fans no problems) acceptable - at level 3 looks already different: It is noisy - but you have to a lead before the eye: 740 m³ / h (what a room with 296 m² and 2.50 m ceiling height equivalent) are not without noise. Vibrations I also could not determine (fan is on a book on the windowsill).
Normally I have the evening still good 29 ° in the room while it is out there already significantly cooler. Thanks to the fan I'm on now ~ 26 ° (21 ° outside). The fact that the temperature is still high enough to heat sources is owed in the room: A PC with a very high heat, a Raspberry Pi and not to forget a person.
What people criticize me does not disturb in the least is the arrangement of the controller. 0-III-II-I is quite practicable, if the fan usually runs on the third stage. He does this with me, so I will therefore deduct anything.
The "stiff" angle setting so I can not quite confirm - it requires a bit of power, but that's about it.
Conclusion:
Anyone looking for a fan to ventilate a room, will be satisfied with this device. However, we should expect no miracles cooling: A fan draws only the air from the outside, so it can never be colder than outside in the room. Cooling requires me quite his time - especially if the computer is running. I generally recommend every summer its equipment to trim on energy saving: simply turn on the PC power saving mode in the Power Options - the CPU will be clocked dynamically (at least for AMD) and produces less heat. For surfing the power goes even - for playing one can then re-enable "high performance".
