The Becker has the best map display of the navigation systems) and the directional pad and the Fahrspuhrassistent I know are great.
But:
- On the open road (no high mountains or urban canyons) GPS signal is lost ... I have no mirrored disks, not even tinted. So it can not lie.
- On known distances wanted me because Navi clockwise send (going through highway), where I would have gone right. I had chosen soared route, but was surprised but that the longer highway route should bring a time saving. The Navi showed me no disabilities. So Sunday afternoon not expected heavy traffic. Navi via Route Move placed to calculate my route and actually counted the Navi on highways with more time than on the highway. According Navi it should take about 12 minutes via the detour highway route and 18 minutes via the highways.
That seemed both very much before .... So testing.
I drove on the highway (loud Navi should as I said take 18 minutes). Used I have ... a little over 6 minutes. That's a third of the time estimated by the Navi-time and half the time, since the Navi budgeted for the highway route. No I have no helicopter ... I have a 90 horsepower cars and consider myself also to the speed limits.
No idea how the Becker expects but it expects no good ...
Such errors make a Navi for me unusable.
The voice control is available but almost no use (and must be activated via a small screen button instead of keyword ... preposterous).
For my Gechmack the menus are a little confusing. Here one must Beker but concede that it much more setting offers than the competitors.
I would like to retain Becker really because of the super map display and the large arrows.
But poor GPS reception is not at all and the route guidance / Time calculation ...
Schade Becker ...
