Both are solved optimally with the Sony RX100. Unfortunately, the RX100, the lens is considerably fainter, resulting in darker pictures and videos under the same conditions and the color is too saturated and maybe not to korregieren in red and blue tones for my taste extremely overstressed and without finishing on the PC .. .insgesamt is the RX100, which is also an outstanding noble-Compact for the current price of about 360 EUR, built to my mind too compact, you do not know how or where to the touch ... but who much emphasis on modern elegance and a lot of image detail sets, highest note in video indoors expected is very good advice here!
Conclusion:
For a price of about 340 EUR Lumix LX7 which is an outstanding creative Compact with consistently very good allround features for photo and video, which played a key role for me compared to the Sony RX100!
