So I worked my way through various forums: The choice was between the LX100, e-PL7 and GM1. The LX100 would I really liked the feel, however (also with the size I could live) is my fix built-Zoom too short. The E-PL7 has no EVF (Viewfinder), but a fine folding screen. The body, however, is twice as heavy and it is also slightly larger. But she has an in-camera image stabilization, which I knew to appreciate only really when I compared my E-M5 and the GM5 the Zuiko 25 1.8.
One must be aware that without OIS everything is a Verwackelungsrisiko under the rule of thumb (shutter speed = 1/2 * focal length). With this in mind, the images from both cameras give relatively little. The E-M5 has the 12-32 moderate to strong CA's (eg via Lightroom well correctable), which is GM5 with 12-32 but immaculate. The imported by LR RAWs act of the GM5 slightly cooler than the RAWs of the E-M5.
Ultimately, it has become the GM5 in Amazon flash range, because they, unlike the GM1 has a viewfinder and can be truly called a compact camera as compared to the aforementioned. One must really congratulate Panasonic - the "Small" not only has everything on board, which also have larger MFT cameras, the handling is better than I imagined it for such a small camera. Even the small viewfinder is of good use, even if you never with the viewfinder of the E-M5 can compare him. Initially, I was so excited that I even thought to give away my E-M5 - if it were not for the great 5-axis stabilization of the E-M5.
You have to just be aware that almost all available fixed focal lengths without stability and are thus one must always use faster shutter speeds (at the expense of the ISO). However, the set lens (Lumix 12-32) has a stabilizer, so you have here is actually no disadvantages compared to a stabilized body (such as e-PL7). Further advantages over the GM1 are the fine aperture / correction wheel and video recording with 50p. The accompanying Aufsteckblitz I find more advantageous because it is slightly stronger than the built-in flash of GM1.
Now I'm still looking for a suitable bag! 2 spare batteries I have already ordered - the battery life is quite scarce - the charging process with the external charger takes about 1 hour!
All in all a good compromise - a camera with great features and excellent picture quality!
