I was not disappointed, on the contrary.
The sound of my Boxenset devil Compact 30 is great.
The operation is, though you have to use the built display, because the receiver does not display a menu on the screen, relatively simple and straightforward.
The terminal connections for the speakers do not bother me, as I only use cables with "normal" cross-section.
The automatic measuring and adjusting, via the supplied microphone, works quickly and reliably. The result has convinced me.
The remote control is (for an AV Receiver) downright tidy and clear.
The CEC functions (mutual device control via HDMI), called here "Sony Bravia-Sync", also works with my TV and my BluRay player (both Philips (since the heist then "Use Philips EasyLink")). Example, I can adjust the volume of the amplifier with the TV remote control.
A special feature for me:
When the HDMI standby pass-through set to "Auto", goes the amplifier when the TV is switched off in the deep standby and disables the HDMI passthrough. If you then turn on the TV again, the amplifier wakes up and partially reactivated the HDMI passthrough. That should save electricity again.
All in all, clear with the price-performance ratio five stars!
PS: In contrast to the product title announced the Receiver has no upscaler!
