Hello There! I am writing this review really just a little (really little) to correct the statements of my predecessors. That what has been written is true under 5 stars. The sound of the speakers is subjective. In the trade magazines you can read and look the Messprotokole what rank has fought for the ERGO-620 (it was once middle class boxes). Speakers (just past the basket + membrane) show the model ERGO RC-L (relatively large floor-standing speakers) no aging weaknesses. So let us assume that the ERGO-620 after 10 years as well as RC-L - are looking like new and work great. I once both speaker types (RC-L and 620) connected to the same amplifier and switched the output switch between boxes A and B. The 620-ger stood on the RC-L plan and later on chairs beside the RC-L's. In the same settings (volume, tone) played the 620-ger with much less force and with much less bass. The treble and higher midtones were there. One we must not forget: RC-L and 620-GER are completely different speakers. Those who believe, however, large floor-standing speakers, to be able to replace it with smaller with similar speakers who will be surprised. There are on the market smaller speakers that are even better than the RC-L's - but the price starts at perhaps only at 2000 Euro. I use the ERGO-620 as a lateral satellite speakers. As rear satellite speakers run 2 "hybrids" with Quadral + Visaton speakers (woofer / midrange driver had to be removed - they are literally falling apart after 20 years). Greetings! ChFo
