As for music playback: Sits the earphones perfectly, he thrilled with clear and distinct bass, especially at medium volume sounds the CX 300 outstanding. If one player his very quiet, the centers are, however, slightly queasy, you can hear very loud music, the ups sting out sometimes unpleasant. Overall, the sound for earphones in this price range, however, is excellent.
Why do so many reviewers here otherwise? Because these far more dependent on perfect fitting in-ear headphones are than any other type of headphones or earphones. You have to seek out the appropriate rubber adapter and the listener really push further into the ear canal as many as will feel comfortable. You get used to over time, really great, it never feels like.
Sitting listeners not _Totally perfekt_ that CX 300 sound but darn fast basslos and plärrig. A little time to try is therefore needed. No one who has found the right seat only once, but can seriously argue, for example, supplied with the iPod earbuds would sound even remotely close to the CX 300. Between both - for me as a full-time orchestra musicians - worlds!
While I certainly already in-ear earphone tested that have the CX 300 clearly exceeded, but the cost (as the better models from Shure) then also several times.
