Installation:
Unwrapped, via HDMI go to the TV and going.
The receiver has been pre-programmed standard programs, the complete tuning took me about 20 minutes, at about 3000 stations found throughout the world. The station search works on a very good options menu, which is completely in English, and first switch setting interface in German first. Can be found immediately, no problem. Even the colors of the menu you can change - not important, but a nice gimmick.
In addition, you can set the display time of the transmitter when switching: from 1 second to 9 seconds.
The VFD display (blue) on the receiver itself is very easy to read even from a distance.

Firmware Updates:
Possible via satellite, USB and RS-232 connection
Even not done because everything works. However, I read on the internet that have a number of problems when updating via satellite and then the Inverto often no longer concerns but hangs immediately after starting. I can not say anything about it because I did not update as long as everything works. And it does with me.

The Image:
The image of TV programs (upscaled from the receiver - 1080i)
I am now used Blu-Rays - at last I can again TV series or even football look with great colors and without streaking. The image is vivid, color-fast and with virtually no defects. Even old black and white films are much richer in contrast to light than it ever could have made my old Koscom.

Remote Control:
Optically not just the design highlight, but the buttons are exactly where you wish to participate and has excellent pressure points - and that's what counts. She also stands in the upper part with a brushed aluminum surface into the eye. I've nevertheless completely transferred to my Harmony One.

Conclusion:
Impressive. It is better and you would be. The SD programs are highly polished and clean the demo channels Anixe HD and Astra HD show in a breathtaking manner, whereas television of the future leads. The Inverto Scena 5 IDL5550-S you are ideally equipped.
