I have two of these ASUS GX-D1081 V2 switches in use with CAT5 cables. An AVM Fritz box on the first from there depending on a cable in a room and a second switch in the office. Replaced I have with both my old two 5port Gigabit Switches from 3Com. First I must say that they look good and give no noises. 1a. The transmission speed which I had with the old 3Com switches 70MB / s data transfer rate, I now reach the new ASUS 90-92MBit / s.
Infected maybe Realtek it? On a an address sticker was where what with ASUS Computer [...] Realtek booth.

Top! And worth a buy recommendation!
