Pink has changed greatly since their debut album. Their first album was in America already very successful, they even had a No. 1 hit (Most Girls). Their style was still clearly R & B, which is not so successful in Germany known. For us it has become known by the song "Lady Marmalade" only with Christina Aguilera, Mya, Lil 'Kim. Solo she was successful with "Get The Party Started". Her second album sounds totally different, Pink rocking now correct. The strongest songs are in my opinion: - "Do not Let Me Get Me", in which they criticized the music industry and with its "Diss" to Britney Spears ("Tired to be Compared to damn Britney Spears, she's so pretty, that's just aint me") for vortex caused ; - "Family Portrait", a very emotional and dramatic song on which you can hear the Pink has a really great voice; - "Get The Party Started", the super-successful first single, a party track with a high fun factor (written by Linda Perry, former "4 Non Blondes" singer, participating on "Lonely Girl"); - "Gone To California" in the Pink's famous "American Dream" is doing very sarcastically funny. But every single song is worth listening to (which can not be said of their latest album). Pink has personally and artistically significant further developed, their songs are more personal, she has her own style found. They need not even with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and co. compare, because Pink is making real music, shows genuine feelings and rocking live totally off. In addition, she has an extraordinary voice and sings live without exception. That's why I would recommend this album to anyone who enjoys listening to music and strong women with personality rather than contrived like Pop (p) -Püppchen
