Then if you're in the game, so the castle of math Vampire example shown as an environment thanks to each differently set in which you then click through the rooms and there each can do math problems and Math exams, and in every room of the players some additional "gimmicks" can Select where then something happens in addition, decided to conduct the figures or objects any more or less funny actions. The progress of the dissolved check tasks will be rewarded by a magic juice bottle, which begins sometime to taste the vampire. For the exercises, there is star as a reward. Is passed a test, a math game is unlocked.
My personal, subjective evaluation:
Pro:
- Class 1-4 are included
- The exercises correspond approximately to the level math in school
- The program is quite suitable for practicing when you as a parent permanently next sitting and the child performs the operation, explains the responsibilities and shall ensure that real problems are solved.
Cons:
- The tasks are often not self-explanatory, the explanations are often not suitable for children
- Navigation in the Castle invites too much one to only play around without loosing any meaningful tasks. One has to look after the children very closely in the use as a parent - because sometimes you wondered whether you could then not make the same even the tasks
- A substitution is possible only after restarting the program - or the function is so hidden that we have not found it yet
- A comparison of the results between players has not yet been opened up to me, like to work. The function is indeed offered, but apparently the program is not, at least in our system setup will be able to load the different high scores at the same time.
- The difficulty increases greatly with the unlocked games. Our children who gamble Gameboy not daily, fail due to the haptic difficult and also still jerky / hakeligen operation, which extends over time pressure games. I as an adult have tried it themselves and find it partially annoying that you have to press some keys several times until they finally respond. Perhaps this is due to the reloading of data from the mandatory essential DVD? My oldest son has some of the games canceled frustrated and started to cry then. Well thank you!
- Perhaps the thickest minus is the copy protection on the DVD: The DVD must be the function of the program in the drive. The first is loud, secondly, this is a children's program, that we are waiting downright sure that the DVD unusable and thus the program is no longer available. Thirdly, we can only be used on one of our computers, as only it has a an optical drive. First, this is not customer-friendly, secondly, not contemporary, thirdly unjustified. Copy protection is unnecessary, in my view, all speculating about the considerable monetary losses due to piracy are pretty far-fetched, in my view, because those who want to piracy the program that do anyway no matter how good is the protection and those who can buy it, do that anyway just too, and then resent the copy rum. And if you want him already, then you should run it differently. If I could, I would pull it 5 stars, but it's also about the overall evaluation of the program.
- A minus is the initial and final Commercial program, which one in the second case also can not interrupt. The purchase price that really needs now is not, and is simply annoying. One should look can deselect at least after the 50th time. With free games I have it somewhere more understanding, but in a paid game should not be.
As far as my personal review. That's my opinion, you are of course free to read the other reviews to give you an overall picture.
