Had the debut album to offer many more pop appeal, this is virtually no longer exist on The Unknown. No Tip Tapping more, on the second album govern songs in heavy minor and would probably fit better in the dark season.
But this must not of course be, The Unknown also works well in this beautiful spring. And ultimately I rate so the music and no season.
As my Vorrezensent already wrote so, picking out individual songs makes little to no sense. This board wants here and must be consulted at a time.
Already at the eponymous opening track, the path clearly shows. The piano is the dominant part of the first plate, always supported by cool electronic sounds, but which fit perfectly in the pieces and take an almost magical symbiosis with the voice of Dillons.
The whole runs like a red thread through the plate, this is always electronic towards the end and found in Nowhere its peak. A song with a blast of fat bass, almost, is suitable as a dancefloor.
The only tiny gripe is that Dillon less with her voice plays and therefore is no longer present this childish and unspoiled atmosphere of its predecessor. The whole change of course nothing to deserve five stars for this record. Dillon and her compositions have become up fast and the lady manages to The Unknown just to be not just another singer at the piano.
No, Dillon moves in her own musical cosmos. To explore this worthwhile, even if it is not easily accessible. Each inquisitive which it admits will be rewarded with a great album.
Therefore, strike, bagging the album and can be swept away musically. A plate for the leaderboards of the year can now say already.
