At the risk of sounding like an idiot .... but never mind.
I bought this super UltraFire charger and it is aptly named.
Indeed, from the first charge with new ad hoc batteries, purchased together, the charger caught fire with the batteries.
And after using the other charged battery, I placed in the location that had not grilled but the second time, the charger has failed to set fire to my office. Bravo for this production ...!
