You can spend a fortune on a bread knife or get a pretty good also for a lower price. I've done with this knife. The build quality is solid, there is nowhere sharp edges (except at the cutting course) or other defects on the outer surface. The coating gives the knife not only a good appearance, but it actually is not liable to it, not even with freshly baked bread. I'm thrilled and would buy it right away if I had not already one.
