No, seriously, I have torn up the window in the hallway and in the kitchen, burned the pan with oil, salt and potatoes. Until the potatoes were almost coals. The mess was limited, the smoke also. It's all clean again, only the kitchen still smells a bit strict.
Now the pan has a nice, shiny patina and is fully functional. At the Bratfähigkeiten I doubt for a second, because I still know those pans of my grandma. My mother had an iron goose roasters who however then eventually rusted to himself. A pity. But my mother made the best fried potatoes - in an iron pan, which they afterwards only ausputzte. Teenage I found the totally stupid and old-fashioned. So times change :)
I order me one more ... but first of all I am looking forward to my steak terrible tonight.

I have just opened the pan and once fried fresh mushrooms. In addition there was a beef steak.
Honestly: For this meal, I would willingly put down a lot of money in the restaurant. So good I got this dish never attempt it (and that's not an illusion), it is clearly on the pan !! It sizzles right. That sounds good, and you get the impression that you "really professional" cooks. So it's fun!
The other pans I have discarded. They're in the trash!

Pan Nr. 2 has arrived. This time I was not "infected" by all reviews, but have looser seen what branding is concerned the matter.
Cleaned pan, dried, oil pure, set to highest level. When the pan was hot, throttled the heat. Pure potato slices with zest, salt it. I used 1 tablespoon. Then I have the potatoes as long fried until they were dark brown. The smokes and stinks less. It takes everything to the 30 minutes. Let cool pan cleaned out moist, a little oil in ... reheating, egg pure and fried. Nothing was stuck, the bottom was nicely crisp. Perfect.
A smaller pan - 20 cm - I've even ordered. And no, there is no update it more :)
