I was recently faced with the problem to save data from my 2.5 inch IDE drive from my broken laptop.
This IDE adapter has immediately brought my action to success without any problems.
In addition to copious adapter plug and a power supply is included to provide the power-hungry 3.5 incher with electricity. My 2.5 inch drive worked without extra power supply to the adapter.
Thanks SATA interface I can function for watching eg perform backups with the adapter using newer boards.
A highly recommended product.
