Opposite Season 1 must be clearly stated that this season has Qualitatively massively reduced. The inhabitants of Chester Mill behave in such a strange and unrealistic, that the series even sometimes slipping towards slapstick. Of course, one does not expect a completely realistic story in a fantasy series. But it is yet to feel the creators of the series have an artificial Season 2 built after the success of Season 1, to draw the story in the length. In addition, you lose as a spectator more and more the hope that even the authors still know where things are headed (that feeling you had at Lost as well, as it turned out to be right).
Three stars you can give maybe still because, despite all the weaknesses still a certain ("how to do it well next? Factor is that (unfortunately) can not be denied.
I recommend everyone to read the book, because this is really entertaining and very depressing and exciting from the atmosphere ... and you have to have no concern that the series "spoilert", because this one is now decoupled completely from that of the original book ,
