I'm looking for a successor for my Galaxy Tab P1000, with which I am basically satisfied, but not quite equal to the prior art.
So from the data here is the Huawei Media Pad an absolute price / performance hammer! Dual-core processor, UMTS, IPS dispaly with high resolution, SD card slot, large 4100mAh battery, HDMI and USB port! For this purpose a housing in aluminum, the new haptic quality standards in the 7-inch class defines (far better than the Galaxy Tab, Acer A100 or Dell Streak 7). Also the processing is on a very high level.
Now to the negative points that have me but then disappointed. The first time the Tabs I noticed immediately that the display is poorly lit and clearly Flashlights are visible on the short sides. So these are very bright simmetric on the side, coming from the backlight under. The color display on the dispaly is a stunner, but with all dark backgrounds immediately fall on Flashlights.
The second thing really bothered me was the very poor responsive touchscreen. I have any input repeat 2-3 times, because the table did not respond. In the long run it's more than annoying.
So my Mediatab declined so.
I want to again emphasize that I suspect that I caught a Monday device. In the other recessions or test reports can be anything that is read by my criticisms. Nevertheless, in my opinion, but also critical recessions should help to purchase.
If you get a device that does not reflect my criticism, they have, in my opinion one of the best 7 inch tablet with the best price / performance ratio in their hands.
