1. The rotary switch for temperature selection is very shaky and gives the impression as if he would hold a maximum of a few months, you get the feeling he sits not properly fixed.

For the first time (following the instructions of the manual) then developed light smoke and a smell of burnt plastic. In the smoke is indeed noted in the manual, but I think it's still annoying. Especially since the burnt smell even the second time around temples still occurred.
The main function, ironing se, the maximum iron met satisfactorily. The laundry is thanks lush steam at the end of smooth beautiful, but joy comes definitely not because the iron glides very bad. Worst of all, this can be felt in T-shirts of cotton (not printed), you lift the edge of the T-shirts on the iron so the shirt sticks to the iron and is raised with. This I have to regularly pull the shirt back into position when ironing. The direct comparison I could with a estimated 20 years old, AEG iron (still made in Germany) do that much better than the laundry unescorted. This one rated Philips against acts properly blunt.
Another point of bothers me personally is not included filling device. This was my first steam iron, which is why I can not fall back on the cup of an old steam iron, a suitably small funnel I have not in the budget.
