The most important is the navigation and here has the Navi but sometimes gross defects. Route guidance is partly absolutely not understandable and it is often done in urban areas totally inconvenient to their destination. Get one always does, but it's also the job of the NAVI to select the best route. For example, when I go home it directs me regularly through the whole place (30 zone) instead of the fast bypass road to choose. No man comes to us with the idea through the village to hoof it (partly also a lot of traffic). Even worse: Just before I get home I have to turn right again and then nohc 50 meters to the finish. What strikes Garmin ago? Straight from the second right in and then drive around the whole block. Hi Whats wrong? If that would have made my old nüvi660 a rebranding would even then queued. Another example? Returned from vacation in Milan jam on the highway. Automatic route bypass activated. Garmin guides us on Fridays at 17:00 clock by the Milan city center, just jam all the time. Since then I have the automtische Route redirection disabled. If you as a knowledgeable local drivers now leave the proposed route and an alternate selected (eg for construction), it considers far too long fast to the original route.
The cards have partly mistake, this is then a lack of Navteq. I have stayed here two corrections submitted and subsequently drawn map update, errors are not corrected. I find that very unfortunate.
The display pleases me very much. The voice control works quite well to 80% and is wirktlich an important aspect to road safety.
Why only 2 stars? The quality of the route guidance is poor, traffic congestion avoidance suitable partly limited. These are central requirements for a GPS and do not meet my expectations, unfortunately.
