I hear about 60 -70% Stereo. According to me a good stereo sound is slightly better than the TV / Blu-ray enjoyment. But all I want, especially in 3D movies, not renounce 5.1.
To use the receiver to a Jamo system should comprising of Front S604, S602 Surround, Center 6Cen used. Since my wife the Jamo S 606 were too big, I've made my decision and the Jamo Sub involved as support 200 for the S604.
So, full of expectation connected everything and wired. Then the calibration with Audyssey. I was hoping for an aha effect. Instead, the pure disillusionment came as flat and zückhaltend but the sound is in stereo mode. I've read through some notes on the receiver settings in advance in hifi forum and have tried all settings over a period of about 6 hours. Calibrated multiple re-tries rectify manually and finally all set manually. In between, I have over and over again reset the receiver to factory settings and try that best rauszuholen with the next shot from the Denon, unfortunately without success. Despite switching from large to small speakers, with and without Dynamic etc, I'm just not tuned to the sound from Yamaha. The bass while Yamaha are much crisper. The sound the Yamaha much warmer, more alive, more voluminous and more clearly pronounced. Compared to the Denon listen and I really regret that say so to must- like an old kitchen radio on. Even in the Pure Direct mode, the Yamaha proposes to lengths better.
Before now anyone over the Jamo's bleats. The boxes provide in stereo mode with my Yamaha without Sub -a ausgewogenens voluminous sound. However, I have switched to the GEQ Yamaha. EVLT. Denon has nothing comparable to the GEQ ?! But as described above sounded the Jamos in Direct Mode on Yamaha better than the Denon.
I thought that it can accommodate very well with my Yamaha is the Denon with the features and innovations. Unfortunately smooth missing. Instead, I have to remember, we good but my Yamaha. Probably I will therefore stay with the brand and give me an upgrade from Yamaha.
