The machine was more than 2.5 years of service. The handling easy. The design is appealing for the price. But a plastic bomber. Very handy removable water tank. The can quickly fill the water tap. The coffee tasted us always delicious and the quantity was sufficient if the baby layer starts morning at 5:00 clock.
After about 1 year of Kalkschaden began. The machine has some 15-17 minutes needed to go through. Despite regular decalcification was no joy in the long run. OK so we would still be able to live for 2 years.
BUT: Increasingly, we noticed that the machine turned off by itself. Turned on the morning before showering and not turned on after showering. The always very smooth power switch was quickly identified as the culprit. This went some point in an audible hiss. After we told an acquaintance of the professional fire service, that coffee makers are responsible for a large proportion of residential fires waiting for the machine to the electrical waste.
CONCLUSION: The taste and operator side recommended. Longevity and safety a flop, I have not expected from a brand manufacturer. But perhaps only an isolated case. In other Siemens products, we are satisfied.
