This was my first dry shaver. Compared of lignite and Philips shavers convinced me to be able to clean the shaver directly under a water jet the ability. I do not want to comment on the shaving me. Since I have no benchmarks with other dry shavers, I would rate the performance as well. Of course, not comparable with a wet shave, but that to me was clear beforehand. What really annoys me are the fundamental design flaw. When advertised cleaning under the tap water also runs on the contacts to the charging station. No, I have not kept the contacts under the faucet, the water runs from the top through the shaver to the contacts. That makes not say anything, but over time the effects are seen by calcareous tap water (which you can not choose). The contacts calcify, and the shaver not charge :-( This is evident only when you need it the next time. I have already repeatedly cleaned the contacts, which is quite complicated, but in the long run makes it no fun at a less than two-year-old machine. Who designs so a mischief? Inductive charging is now available but more than 10 years and so would this problem never occurred.
