Camera / firmware:
- Automatic night vision is not working. Probably a hysteresis problem. During the twilight there is flickering and picture loss, night or during the day everything is fine.
- Speakers rushes and cracks, which is audible over the mike
- Copy the files from the SD card takes a long time despite impeccable cable connection. So you have to remove the SD card and import directly into the computer. Especially when observing birds nesting very impractical.
- Loop storage on SD card is unreliable. Some files are too small and not well readable, if you make a snapshot on the Bowserplugin during recording to SD card.
Browser Plugin:
- IOS software and the plugin are unstable, often needs to be reloaded to run again
- No firmware update possible or available
- No software update possible or available
- No support address on the Internet or any other contact with the manufacturer possible
- Control the camera very sluggish, despite Gigabit wired connection
- Format the SD card is not funzt.
- No ONVIF standard, thus not taxable on my Synology NAS
- Despite Gigabit cable connection very delayed presentation
Also under Windows 7 with IE11 arise the same problems.
Too bad, because most of the problems would be safe to fix with a firmware / software update. Then you could assign a clear conscience 4 or 5 points. Especially the price / performance ratio would then beat well.
So I am afraid to return the camera.
