Unfortunately, with yellowness

These LEDs from Osram have initially made a very good impression. It hums nothing, there is no interference with DECT or WiFi. The course of the beam is soft and the low energy consumption fantastic.

But unfortunately they all have a glaring color cast. Yellows are much too oversaturated. In addition, the plastic lens scatters the 4 individual LEDs in the spot is not sufficient. Ugly Multiple shadows are the result. Under such a light one would like to read a longer text, since everything has a slight blur.

So suitable for basement corridors and the like. For the living room but not determined.

The LEDs went back to Amazon. They were replaced by copies of Samsung, cheaper and better (Optimum Range High CRI: 95). Here you can see what progress does the LED technology in one year (The Osram May 2013: The Samsung October 2014).
