The connection of the adapter to the console took five seconds (there was unpacking from these cruel blister packs significantly more time-consuming) - just plug in USB connector and "clip it" the adapter back. Then I had my console only turn, in the network settings, the available networks let me show, choose my own network, enter the network key and you're done - a few seconds later I was here. All in all, the whole action per console may have taken two to three minutes. Thought out and implemented Super - in my opinion one can really no longer make it easier for the user.
Even with my former white versions of the Xbox 360 wireless adapter, which I had previously connected, the lead path and time was exactly the same. The new adapters do I use now the 802.11n transmission standard, with my past I had used 802.11a adapters.
The problems here have some users, I can not understand therefore. Both the previous and the new adapters do their job entirely satisfactory.
The only drawback in my opinion the price, but on the prices of original accessories for consoles could be (regardless of manufacturer) almost endless "fight". I have long wondered whether I should not deduct a star due to the quite high price, but I decided against it because the extremely simple installation and ease the high price adequately compensates and rudimentary justifies.
The included driver DVD I have not needed the rest. Anyone who has provided his console already with the new Dashboard update, the adapter without additional driver installation should also easy to connect directly.
I was and am anyway satisfied with the old and new adapter and would buy it again at any time.
