Even brand names are no guarantee of quality, at Logitech sounds only the Z623 good (but very sharp!), Bose really all sounds vague, Hercules can no systems with subwoofer and satellites only Creative is with the T20 and T40 before a glimmer of hope among the big names.
Unfortunately, the devil systems are priced to me violently for the space on the PC - not far is a PianoCraft Yamaha, when things get serious I have to stop moving a few feet!
Therefore I am glad that there are also serious double-digit price range PC boxes:
The Creative T20 Been a glimmer hope, just the fabric dome sounds very good for themselves - unfortunately drowned out the bass, the low mids extreme, even the minimum position bass control can no longer compensate.
Actually, a lot of pressure and fullness of sound - only the tone of the singers so weak that could be equal to take a 2.1 system which then would have more power.
2.1 PC systems have the problem of the weak transition zone as good as ever - from hell apart times.
The Hercules XPS 2.0 30 sound much better - the most deep middle of the test - not that this would now be over-emphasized, only the upper mids remain somewhat behind the heights. The fabric dome of the T20 can not keep up - that the fundamental range of vocals does not fall out.
The Hercules XPS 2.0 60 is the best compromise for me. Not quite as cloudy as the favorable XPS 30 - but in the heights much better!
Overall, the roundest sound, possibly you have to take back the treble slightly (11h), it's very nice for PC Speaker in this price range.
Another note in conclusion: Direct from the box sounded the XPS 60 only bad.
I've seen how have to import speakers until they have their full capacity - so far the development but was rather from good to very good ...
The Hercules need at least 30 minutes freizuräuspern around - before they sound really bad (zero gloss), later for the better.
