A lovingly designed edition with a bonus CD in book format, the fan good and alternative music with the expected re-release of the first album proper from mastermind Steven Wilson. Here at this point is due once praise for the label Steven Wilson own - kscope - comes from the exclusively absolute top quality. All fans of this musical genre can look forward, because in addition to Wilson projects Porcupine Tree, No-Man or Blackfield are now also - The Pineapple Thief, Gazpacho, Anathema, Engeneers, Lunatic Soul or nosound - in this record deal, and at present is of almost all groups of out of print back catalog re-published, and thereby released with radio and valuable musical treasures.
The second album of Porcupine Tree is largely kept instrumental, and carries the funny name - Up the Downstairs - which means as much as the down-propelled escalator run. Maybe Steven Wilson wanted to describe his music, the better and more interesting might not be again. This album immediately fascinated me with its spherical sounds great, and the excellent vocal arrangements, especially in the song - Fade Away. The album is an excellent sound journey in which one might really run up the down escalator propelled joy or vice versa.
