Most experiences around this timer I can confirm directly times:
- Processing is solid and absolutely ok
- Functions cover everything you could need and are fairly easy to use
- Cable release (also Bulb function) also works without battery
Some points of the previous reviews I can apparently refute:
- It is now a bilingual manual in German and English
- Battery life is according to guide 3-year
That the battery lasts only three days, is absolutely incomprehensible. The LC display certainly consumed similar little power as with a digital watch. Three days running timer with me already with inserted battery ...
In fact I would have preferred an off switch, but panic should you really do not have in front of the rest power consumption now.
- With an identical "neighboring product" is to be read in a review that the number of interval shooting is limited to 399, which for a time-lapse film eg allows only short films result. That is only partly true. The number is limited to 399, if you want to limit the number at the beginning (!). Substituting no limit, then the interval function makes shooting until the memory card is full. So all the best!
My conclusion: The timer is worth the money, has all the facilities that you could want. Thus, the functions Timer (lead-lag), long-term and interval (and number) combine also quite arbitrary. It can, for example. Be selected that one. With 15min Forward 50 shots with each 30sec exposure time at a distance from each 2min. would make. But who wants that ...; o)
