I know for Theraband together practical door anchor yet these 2 special exercises, which you can also use the Thera-Band, if, for example, can be temporarily used by a hand or arm surgery this upper extremity restricted or charged (one question but, of course, his doctor in advance whether you should do the exercises or not!)
Exercise 1:
Each band end is a precaution twice (!!) tightened by one of the two loops, in such a way that the tape ends dangling by this fixation about each 20-30 cm. Then you push the hard plastic part firmly against it (quite firmly sits there but not, unfortunately). Now you have a Thera-band loop easier of about 70 cm length.
Then you push the door anchor felt pad on the door side, namely below where the door stop sits in about 15-25 cm ground level through the door, so through the gap between door and frame (but precaution NOT from the side to which the rises door!).
Then you close the door and can now alternate each leg put in the sling (approximately at the level just above the ankle) and then spring the leg in all directions.
For safety, you think this is fixed on a sturdy table or the like.
Because remember: What can happen, it will happen!
Exercise 2:
Without door. You sit down on the ground, puts the (above in Exercise 2 with the door anchor produced) loop around the waist (the place where the door anchor is, should this be the side). Then you turn the loop end once so that the loop is now in front of the abdomen quasi crosswise, now you will successively feet below in the loop, in such a way that each foot is wrapped in duplicate (loop slips off otherwise). The feet should be about 30-40 cm apart.
Now you can lift your legs (especially in the supine position), bend and stretch against the resistance of Thera band. The arms can thereby keep quiet, because in that one lies on his back, the loop does not slip from the waist.
Everything sounds more complicated than it is!
Of course you can also move each leg separately, so initially only wrap one foot and then perform movements against the resistance of Thera band.
A CH TUNG: In both exercises the arms are as good as not charged and consequently not trained at the same arm muscles.
If you want to, however strengthen the arm muscles, then you can see the noose of course easily hold normal with your hands instead of putting it around the waist, or simply - without door anchor and loop - in exercises keep the Theraband at the ends with your hands ( two times around the hand wrapped).
