Popowrap-Pants serve their purpose, but have never been my favorite Pants.
The PUL fabric is less elastic than many other over pants that I know, and the membrane acts thicker / more stable. The outside is somewhat roughened fluffy.
Benefits:
- Keep well sealed, no leakage even at longer wet diaper
- Stable: I have some of my Pants second hand, and although known ausleiert and PUL by frequent washing and also by non-use over time elastic delaminated work were still like new, apparently because durable materials processed
- Wide velcro on the front, therefore easy to adapt (at different angles), fairly captures
- One of only very few over pants that fit over it on the chunky-Popolini Onesize-diapers
- In the case of smaller diapers or Mullwindel-with-Snappi is plenty of space to insert an additional deposit outside of the diaper in the overtrousers
- Easy to get: Popolini is the most widespread in Germany brand of cloth diapers and accessories, but you do not have to log into a special cloth diaper-mail order or even order from abroad, and therefore there is also quite often used to buy
Disadvantages:
- The leg cuff and the rubber on the back is lined with a very hard, scratchy tape, that's not for a newborn with sensitive skin, and also in older babies it leaves still pretty bad stripes on the legs. Therefore, one should his baby did not take off a Popowrap, wrap and put another Popowrap but intervening use a diaper cover that has either soft cuffs or is cut differently and thus strip makes to a significantly different place (or both), so that the skin itself can recover.
- The Klett on the wings has no counter Klett for laundry. Thus it can come loose and get caught on other items of laundry, or even to their own leg cuffs, and this zerfusseln. If you very firmly presses the Velcro before washing the Velcro on the front and smooth sweeps, that does not happen so easily.
- For some reason, you can always get customizing only really good way, if the child is currently in the middle of the specified size range (weight). Both fast-yet-to-large as well as already-almost-too-small cuts an awful when you want it tight.
- As I said, the diaper cover is very broad. That is perhaps quite practical for a tiny baby with slightly underdeveloped hips, wearing a very bulky diaper which / was intentionally wrapped wide but narrower for diapers it is unnecessary clunky, and for older children it bothers when crawling or learning to walk.
- Too bad that there is no such over pants in bright colors or interesting patterns. No show-diaper. But it is not suitable anyway for the Midsummer if-the-baby-just-a-diaper-and-a-camisole-wearing, because children can aufkriegen known from approximately 6 months Velcro itself.
