The six CDs are a live recording of Keith Jarrett's "standards" trios from three nights at New York's Blue Note Club. The CDs always changes faster and slower pieces so that adjusts variety. Especially the slow pieces make it a magical and enchanted atmosphere to produce. Within the pieces there is ample room for solo improvisations of the three musicians who provides their championship to prove; the improvisations tear but in their extent the structure of the pieces do not. In particular, frequently encountered in the solo concert of Keith Jarret mixed activities "bridging episodes" with her passing on the spot habit are largely absent here. The sound of the mid-90s, recorded pieces is round with a powerful bass and in his atmospherically space-intensive. It can compete with the best in my opinion studio recordings.
Conclusion: Six great CDs for evening wine and listening to non-jazz musicians suitable!
