Very compact USB multiport charger. Loading afloat and is in operation quiet and cool.

I want you / you describe here my experiences with the EXPOWER 5-Port USB Charger with smart technology.
It is a so-called multiport Wall Charger, so a USB charger with multiple ports.

A micro-USB charging cable is not available, what I think is a pity given the intended use.
Not everyone has to load a suitable cable is available to its smartphones or tablets, especially if the original device has a power plug is firmly connected to the charger cable.

The device is 9,1cm long, 5.8cm high and 2.6cm wide and so forth of the dimensions about the size of a pack of cigarettes.
It weighs only 162 grams, so it is well suited for mobile application to use it for example on a holiday hotel, on the train or at work.

The surface is completely matt-black plastic.
This feels soft and is not nearly as vulnerable as the glossy plastic used just as often, which attracts dust and fingerprints magically.

The power cord is plugged in at the back.
If you set the charger so intuitive way that you can read the logo on the front top, unfortunately, it falls with every little movement on the cable.
As you would in my opinion better to equip one of the two flat sides with foam rubber stoppers to placing the unit comfortable and stable can.

The great advantage of this charger are the five available simultaneously charging ports.
So you can for example simultaneously charge a tablet, a Navi and three smartphones.
The annoying replugging of mains plugs and sockets eliminates blocking of several so completely.

The maximum simultaneous output at 5V is all 5 ports together in 8A, that is the equivalent to 40 Watt.
Each port can deliver a maximum of 2.4A to charge very high powered devices such as tablets and high-end smart phones quickly.
All five ports are equipped with a so-called smart technology, a kind of intelligent charging current detection that adapts to each of the connected device.
In addition there will be a handshake between the two devices and optimally the charger then feeds the customers with the maximum possible load values.
In theory, therefore, should not cause any loss of time loading compared to the original chargers of manufacturers.

This I was able to confirm in practice, loading works well.
Both my grade 3, my S5, a Moto G2 and a Galaxy Tab 10.5 S was loaded as usual quickly.
This is not an appreciable heat generation and no noise (high-frequency buzzing and whistling) was observed.

The standby power consumption of just 0.2 watts I have determined with a Brennenstuhl meter can be described as very good.

I am very pleased with this charger in sum and do not mind spending the full 5 stars for it.
Also this device is again a proof that in the Wall chargers in the past two years much has been technically optimized (Smart technology, size, heat generation ...).
